Kendall James-Vargas
I have always tipped extra with an envelope! It's simple and practical to use. I simply put cash in it and hand it to the crew member at the end of the cruise. Today, I was enlightened that many other guests go above and beyond, possibly overboard. Take a look at this. I'm thinking this is an overboard way to tip. What do you think?
3Sisters
This is funny! I happen to love this, and I may adopt it as my own. This is a great way to make a crew member's day. It's creative. Next time, I'm skipping the paper envelope.
Woody14
It is interesting I recently saw a youtube video which talked about this and took the perspective that this was not appropriate way to tip.
Cruising Caribbean
@Woody14 Yep, I agree with you. This is overboard and could even feel insulting. I wouldn't want to receive a tip like this. It's one thing to spell out a fun message, but to me writing it out like this in cash seem demeaning. There are better ways to creatively tip/show appreciation to your crew.
