3Sisters
Yet another hurricane is causing havoc in the gulf and throughout Florida. Was anyone's itinerary impacted by Hurricane Milton? I expect more cruise updates to come as the hurricane approaches Florida. Currently Hurricane Milton is projected to be a category 3-4 when it makes landfall, but many insiders are stating this one could likely become a category 5. Cruising Caribbean
Well it already made it to a cat 5, but projections of what it will be like once it hits Florida are differing. Most are stating Hurricane Milton will be a category 4 when it makes landfall and then slowly dissipate from there. It's going to be just as tragic as Hurricane Helene, if not worse. I feel for those that will be hit yet again just a week and a half after Hurricane Helene! It seems like such insanity, but that's just how hurricane season is. You never really know! 3Sisters
Hurricane Milton has potentially set a record while out in the Gulf with what is stated to be near Category 6 level. As of late, a category 6 hurricane was nonexistent, but Hurricane Milton may be a game changer. Thankfully it will die down a bit as it makes landfall, at about a category 3 on the west coast of Florida. Hurricane Milton is projected to make landfall in the Sarasota area, but that's still a subjective forecast. Those storm surge levels aren't good. I'm thinking of our first responders.
