mcarab
I hand our cabin steward some cash when meeting them at embarkation with the requests I may have such as in cabin coffee/tea maker, ice twice a day and maybe removing any “charge” items from the mini ridge, a robe and more or fewer hangers. Then, during the cruise I will give extra cash and again at the end of the cruise. OF COURSE I make sure to list their full name and my cabin number on the post cruise survey as this is very important for them career wise.
3Sisters
@mcarab Wow! I'm stunned by your requests. The fact that the crew is able to make all of those things happen for you is impressive. I never thought to do such a thing and I always just tip at the end of my cruise. I would love the luxury of having more hangers during my cruise. I don't know why I never think to ask, but it's a great idea. I guess tipping before gives the crew members incentive to provide optimal customer service. It makes sense!
