Map
I read today where RC has banned more electrical plugs such as multi plugs and extension cords etc. On the older ships the plugs are at the desk/mirror (away from the bed). What are people with CPap machines to do if their cord won't reach???? Edited September 19 by Map
Kendall James-Vargas
@Map There is no way that the electrical outlets are banned. RCL would get way too much backlash for not having a place for guests to charge their phone. There will be a place to charge CPap machines. Multi plugs are banned on most cruise lines. They could be a fire hazard and could pull too much electricity. https://www.cruisehive.com/royal-caribbean-adds-extra-plugs-to-prohibited-items-list/144930

Edited 19 hours ago by Map When you arrive in your stateroom, simply tell you stateroom attendant that you have a CPAP and you need an extension cord. One will be delivered to your room before you turn in for the evening. It's that easy. 1
Cruising Caribbean
@Jim Lamb This is great to know! I bet most cruise lines do this if they don't allow power strips. It's better for the line to distribute as needed instead of a power issue due to overuse throughout the ship. I love how accommodating most cruise lines are nowadays. Cruising is so accessible now for most everyone, as it should be!
Kendall James-Vargas
@Jim Lamb This is great information! It's important to ask your stateroom attendant as soon as your get onboard to get an extension chord. They will be able to get you all set up in a timely manner! @Map Do you have an upcoming RCL cruise? If not, which ship are you looking to cruise on? I have been on a few RCL ships myself!
