What are your takes on vaping? Do you think guests should be able to vape wherever they want onboard? Is there second hand smoke that is really that bad? I don't know much about vaping, but I know it's becoming more and more popular. CCL is saying you can only vape in smoking sections throughout the ship. Do all cruise lines have this same rule? Guests are able to drink all over the ship, so I'm just curious why vaping isn't allowed throughout the ship too.

I'm pretty sure vaping does have second had smoke. Maybe it isn't smoke, but it is vapor chemicals in the air. I still prefer vapes over cigarettes. I prefer cigars over cigarettes too. Can you smoke cigars onboard too? I grew up with my grandpa smoking them and the smell doesn't bother me like the smell of cigarettes does. I feel like if vaping is allowed all over the ship then there will be an uproar of guests wanting equal for cigarettes. It's just better to keep the rules unified.

Every cruise line has its own smoking policy. No two lines are alike in this. If you are a smoker or have a smoking allergy, it's important you become aware of the smoking policy before you book a cruise. If smoking is allowed indoors, I stay away from that area. It is a fire hazard and I'm passionate about the negative impacts of secondhand smoke. Most indoor casinos allow smoking, but not all. One thing to note, the US federal law prohibits marijuana on cruise ships, including medical marijuana. I do think this will change sooner than later. When it does change, it will significantly impact smoking policies while cruising. Vaping doesn't posse the same risks, however I agree that keeping cohesive policies is the smartest move to create unification in "smoking" regulations across the board.

That's an interesting take on marijuana. I have seen some articles where guests have been banned from cruising for bringing CBD creams on accidentally. I think that's harsh. If it's legal for you, and it doesn't have THC, I don't think you should be banned from cruising with the line. Accidents happen. Alcohol is just as toxic, if not worse. I guess the substance is harder to profit off of and regulate in comparison to alcohol. Alcohol is a big money maker for cruise lines!
