thorpemarlene Posted August 19 Posted August 19 We have a cruise upcoming on Norwegian Gem from Boston to Quebec in September. One of the stops is in Seguarny (probally misspelled) Canada. There does not appear to be a lot to do here, we are in our early 70s and like to hike but cannot do 3 mile hikes. One of the excursions in Sequarny National Park is a easy walk hike. My question is has anyone done this excursion, whats it like? Is it worth the money? Waterfalls, views of the Fjords? etc. We are hesitant to do the excursion on a private tour (which i know is less than half the price) only because its an hour drive by bus from the cruise terminal. Thank you 1 1 Quote
Kendall James-Vargas Posted August 19 Posted August 19 @thorpemarlene That's going to be an awesome cruise! I'mm sure you are looking forward to it. Have you cruised to any of these destinations before? I have not done this hike, but I would recommend asking the cruise line directly. The duration of the hike likely depends on the excursion and the guide. Saguenay is where you will be stopping I'm assuming. I'm not seeing Saguenay National Park online, but I am seeing a few other National Parks there. Are you sure that's the name of the park? All of the parks nearby are truly majestic! It's a great call to go for this hike. Is there a difficultly level for this excursion listed online? Quote
3Sisters Posted September 18 Posted September 18 @thorpemarlene I hope you had a great cruise this month! Did you end up visiting Saguenay National Park? If so, what did you think? Were the steps accessible? Would you recommend this excursion to someone who has limited mobility? Quote
