I’m currently on Carnival Vista and when we return I expect to get the money difference between Aruba and the Bahamas. I have pictures of the tugboat helping us out to sea.

The money difference will likely only come back to you while onboard, possibly in cruise credit form. Typically those credits aren't given back post cruise unless stated otherwise. It's such an unexpected circumstance. What a shame.

@Robindd What a bummer! Typically the "price difference" is quite minimal when it comes to ports. What incentives did CCL offer you due to this setback? The line is typically good about giving quests more than enough when things go wrong. Was this your first time cruising on Carnival Vista? The ship will be undergoing repairs at its current homeport. It's set to cruise its next itinerary too! I guess there was an unexpected technical issue.
