Which RC ship was on the 13th of April 2022 in Palma de Mallorca?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

on the 13th of April 2022 I spotted a ship of RC in Palma de Mallorca.

Because of the painting I would say it’s Freedom otS, but the Internet says take Freedom was in the Caribbean.

Does somebody know which ship was there?

@Felix That's surely a backdated cruise! I struggled to find the answer for you, but I did try and search for it. Do you think it was a Freedom Class ship? Could it have been Independence of the Seas? Maybe you can share the painting and see if others could tell based on the photo.

@Felix I'm also having trouble finding which ship this was! You certainly have given me a challenge but I'm up for it. It looked like a dreary day in Palma de Mallorca. Which ship were you cruising on when you took this photo? I will do some research and sere what I can come up with. I will keep looking but as of now, I have no idea! I will certainly keep you posted about what I find.

Hi,

I was there for a no cruise holiday.

Thank you, but I think I already searched everywhere and couldn’t find anything.

I thought someone here knows this because he cruised there in the same period.

i didn’t manage to upload my photos but now I do.

@3Sisters  Thank you very much for your effort, I also did a lot of research but with no results.

Hopefully the photos can help.

I’m guessing Voyager of the Seas, based on the 1st picture.   It appears to be a water slide hanging off of the side of the ship near the rear.

@Felix I see! I really wish I had the answer for you, but I haven't given up on my search. That's a good guess @FJB

I found this article that stated Voyager of the Seas restarted cruise operations from Barcelona after two years on April 15, 2022. That means it likely wasn't Voyager of the Seas, unless it was just docked there with no guests onboard. That's a possibility.

@Felix Do you remember seeing guests onboard the ship? It's possible the ship was docked there before guests were back to cruising on the ship. I don't think it's Adventure of the Seas because that one went from Caribbean to Australian sailing during that timeframe. I'm pretty sure Mariner of the Seas was in the Caribbean too during that timeframe cruising out of Port Canaveral.
