Simmer1949
Has anyone ever gone on the Brasilian carnival themed cruise? I am wondering what to wear in the evenings. Is the food normal cruise fare or are there Brasilian options? Thanks!
Cruising Caribbean
@Simmer1949 I would love to know more about this too! I would imagine it's Brazilian fare that's served onboard. It would only make sense. Which itinerary are you looking into? Where does it cruise out of? I have looked into cruises out of Sao Paulo. I expect the food options to be much more diverse than what is served on a traditional US departing CCL itinerary. Would this be your first time on a Brazilian cruise? 3Sisters
@Simmer1949 I haven't been able to find any menus for you, but the food should be similar with a Brazilian flair. Certain items will reflect the local area, particularly items offered in the MDR. Which ship will you be cruising on? Will you be on CarnaBrazil Cruise onboard Carnival Conquest? From samba classes to parades, that itinerary is going to be amazing!
Kendall James-Vargas
@Simmer1949 As for attire on this Brazilian cruise, I would recommend fun colors! Vibrant patterns and prints are very popular in Brazilian culture. Long flowy dresses and linen button down shirts are great options for such a cruise. The parades call for fun jewelry and makeup that compliments the tropical theme. I don't think costumes are necessary, but I typically stick to the theme while using the clothing I have already in my closet.
