There has been too much information/ studies coming out in the last 6 months showing masks do little to nothing in stopping the spread of the vid.  In fact one study indicates that masks may be the reason for “long covid”. If we ever allow our government to force something like this upon us again, then there really is no hope for America and the freedoms we have been granted.

@LukeJ Personal mask opinions aside, I think keeping it optional is honestly the best. People felt really strongly about this topic, either for or against the idea, and it was pretty divisive. As @FJB I don't think facial masks should be encouraged or forced upon anyone, but rather a personal choice that is respected by all, just like a personal choice to do all other things in life such as the way you style your hair or how you dress.
