Why would NCL shorten the cruise by a day? That would cause lots of passengers problems with air travel and such. And cause NCL to have to park the ship someplace overnight or mess up their next cruise. Why don't they just do a day at sea, if the port is unavailable? Cheers!

I thought cruise ships paid extra hundreds of thousands of dollars to go thru the Panama canal at a specific day and time, no matter how busy the canal is. Making the cargo ships wait days to go thru.
