  1. Maryred . I'm aware of the voluntary color rating system and the Miracle was rated Orange which is a 3 out of 1000 rate of infection. I was fine with those odds, but the article I attached showed the Carnival ship in Seattle had over 100 passengers quarantined, yet Carnival has no red coded ships. In addition a four day cruise is not counted in the system. In reality what are the odds of getting COVID on a particular cruise ship. Carnival doesn't want you to know.
  2. I don't mind the higher costs, those were all up front with the fare. The high risk of contracting COVID was not up front. https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20220505/carnival-cruise-passengers-covid-overwhelmed-ship
  3. We were just on the Carnival Miracle and had a similar issue with the cabin bathroom. No matter how many times you flushed the toilet the water came back yellow. The cabin steward told us the same story, that the bank of rooms had a maintenance issue, but nothing was done. Just today I heard the Miracle was going to dry dock for months, but not soon enough. I was a COVID casualty of the ship.
