  1. Well, we have decided to postpone our NCL October 2022 cruise due to the fact they require over 12 year olds to be vaccinated. Me and my wife are both fully vaccinated, but our 12 and 9 year old kids are not. To be honest, we booked the cruise thinking we would just go ahead and get our son vaccinated for the sole purpose of the cruise - but then after thinking about it we have realized this is totally wrong! I mean, if I got my son vaccinated then it had a negative effect on him I would never forgive myself - all for the sakes of a 7 day cruise! So thanks to NCL's peace of mind policy we can move the cruise to a later date and won't lose our deposit, BUT if this policy does not change in say one years time for the rescheduled cruise we will have to accept that the deposit is lost. I agree with previous posters in that I think its ridiculous that all cruise lines are requiring over 12's to be fully vaccinated. COVID is here to stay. They didn't have a policy in place that said you had to have the flu vaccine did they?? Total BS!!
