  1. As of yesterday I was also denied being able to cash my future cruise credits back in for a refund. My cruise was suppose to be back in May 2020. It was cancelled under the cruise with confidence program. I could only get a future cruise credit for the money I had paid in. So with my family being unvaccinated an unable to cruise by their protocols I called Royal Caribbean yesterday and was on the phone for over 2 hours with the resolutions department arguing about wanting my money back that was rightfully mine. They continued over and over saying that couldn’t refund me for my future cruise credits. He said it was corporates decision. I asked him where his corporate headquarters was located and that I wanted to talk to them. He responded he needed to look that up. I told him it’s in Miami and how embarrassing you don’t even know where your company is located. I finally got the phone number from him which will probably do no good to call and will be a waste of my time. What they are doing is is unfair and unethical. This was going to be our first cruise with Royal but I can promise you that me nor my family will never support or step onto one of their cruise ships after this experience!!!!
  2. Has anyone tried to get a refund for future cruise certificates? My party is unvaccinated and I was told that the certificates have to be redeemed by May 31, 2022 for a sailing by December 31, 2022. The representative told me the only way to get the refund since we are unvaccinated was to book a new cruise using the 6 $100 certificates to pay the deposit then wait a few days and then cancel the cruise. We would be refunded the money back to the original form of payment. Has anyone heard of this? Does this sound legit? Are there other ways to get this refund? Thanks for any help!!

Can anyone please tell me if unvaccinated guests have to be tested again at the port before boarding even if they have a negative test results to show from two days prior on 3 day Carnival Liberty cruise? Also has anyone that is unvaccinated been able to board with the rapid test from Walgreens Binax ID NOW? Carnival says you need PCR test which is a molecular test and so is the Binax ID NOW test. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’m cruising on Carnival Liberty 3 day next month. Just trying to get this stuff figured out before it’s to late. Thanks!
